Copolymer laminated aluminum tape is a type of electrical tape that is made by laminating a layer of aluminum foil to a layer of copolymer film. The copolymer film used in this tape is typically made from a blend of polyethylene (PE) and ethylene-acrylic acid (EAA) or ethylene-methacrylic acid (EMAA) copolymers. The aluminum foil provides electrical conductivity and acts as a shield against electromagnetic interference (EMI), while the copolymer film provides mechanical strength and flexibility. Copolymer laminated aluminum tape is commonly used in the construction of high voltage power cables and other electrical equipment where EMI shielding is required.
