Recently, ONE WORLD successfully completed the production and delivery of a batch of insulating crepe paper tape to an Indonesian cable manufacturer. This customer is a new partner we met at the Wire MEA 2025, where they showed interest in the cable insulation materials we displayed at our booth. After the expo, we promptly provided the customer with crepe paper tape samples for evaluation in their actual power cable production. After inspection and practical testing, the customer confirmed that the samples met their production requirements, particularly demonstrating stable electrical insulation performance and compatibility with cable impregnation agents. Upon confirming that the products met their production needs, the customer placed the first order. To ensure product quality, each batch of crepe paper tape undergoes strict performance testing before shipment, including electrical strength and mechanical property tests, ensuring that the delivered products comply with standards and customer requirements.
The crepe paper tape delivered to Indonesia is made of high-performance electrical kraft paper as the base material and is processed into a unique crepe structure. It is specially used for the insulation of compacted conductor cores in high-voltage, extra-high-voltage, and special-structure cables, as well as for the cushioning layers between conductors. It can effectively isolate the current paths between conductor strands, helping to reduce eddy current effects and energy loss, while also providing good mechanical performance to cushion and protect the internal structure during cable bending and twisting. In addition, the product has excellent adsorption properties, allowing it to quickly combine with cable insulating oils and other impregnation agents to form a dense and complete insulation system, making it an essential material for manufacturing high-voltage power cable insulation layers.
