1. Product Introduction

The fiberglass reinforced plastic rod is a new kind of high performance engineering composite material, which is made by pultruded molding process with resin as matrix material and glass fiber as reinforced material which is widely used in strengthening core of various optical cables.
The FRP/GFRP strengthening core is widely used in the optical cable industry as a kind of structural strengthening component of optical cable, which has the following advantages:
1) The FRP/HFRP materials are not sensitive to electric shock, and are suitable for many thunder, rain and other climatic environments .
2) Fiber optic cables with FRP/GFRP strengthening cores can be installed next to power cord and power supply device, and will not interfered by the induced current generated by the power cord or power supply device;
3) Compared with metal strengthening core, the FRP/HFRP does not produce gases resulting from the chemical reaction between the metal and the factice that affect the fiber transmission performance;
4) Compared with metal strengthening core,FRP/HFRP has the advantages of high tensile strength and light weight,which can reduce the fiber optic cable weight and facilitate the fiber optic cable manufacturing,transportation and laying.
The FRP/HFRP we provided has the following characteristics:
1) Uniform and stable diameter,uniform color,no surface cracks,no burr,smooth feel.
2) Low density,high specific strength
3) The linear expansion coefficient is small in a wide temperature range.

2. Application

It is mainly used as non-metallic reinforcement for ADSS cable,laminar-stranded outdoor cable and FTTH butterfly cable.
