PP filler rope (also known as polypropylene filler rope) and silane XLPE compound of Sioplas method are two different materials used in the manufacturing of cables. PP filler rope is used as a filler material in cables to give them their desired shape and size. It is made of polypropylene and has good flexibility, strength, and resistance to moisture.
Silane XLPE compound of Sioplas method, on the other hand, is a type of cross-linked polyethylene insulation material used in cables. The Sioplas method is a process for producing XLPE compounds using a silane crosslinking agent. The resulting XLPE compound has high thermal stability, good electrical properties, and excellent resistance to environmental stress cracking.
While PP filler rope and silane XLPE compound of Sioplas method are not directly related, they may be used together in the manufacturing of certain types of cables, such as power cables or communication cables. The PP filler rope may be used to fill any empty spaces in the cable, while the XLPE compound may be used as insulation for the conductors.
