Introduction:
Polyester tape, also known as polyester film or mylar tape, is a film made by polyethylene terephthalate through stretching.
The polyester tape we provide has characteristics of smooth surface, no wrinkles, no tears, no bubbles, no pinholes, uniform thickness, high mechanical strength, strong insulation, puncture resistance, friction resistance, high temperature resistance, smooth wrapping without slipping, it is an ideal tape material for cables / optical fiber cables.
We can also provide natural color (transparent) or other colors of polyester tapes according to customers’ requirements.
Application:
The polyester tape is widely used in cable products, mainly in wrapping and longitudinal wrapping of cable cores in various types of cables, such as communication cables, control cables, data cables, electronic cables, and optical fiber cables.
It can bind the cable cores after cabling to prevent the cable cores from loosening, and at the same time, it also has the effect of blocking water and moisture. It can also prevent the metal shield wires from puncturing insulation and cause a short circuit or voltage breakdown when there is a metal braid shield layer outside the cable cores. And it can prevent the sheath from scalding the cable cores at high temperature to play the role of heat insulation when extruding the sheath.
