Film laminated water-blocking tape is a modern high-tech water blocking material that is composed of polyester fiber non-woven fabric, polyester film and high-speed expansion water-absorbing resin. The excellent water blocking performance of the film laminated water blocking tape mainly comes from the strong water absorption performance of the high-speed expansion water-absorbing resin that is evenly distributed inside the product. The polyester fiber non-woven fabric and polyester film adhered to the high-speed swelling water-absorbent resin ensure that the film laminated water-blocking tape has sufficient tensile strength and good longitudinal elongation. Compared with ordinary water-blocking tapes, film laminated water-blocking tapes are compounded with high-strength polyester film, so the product has higher tensile strength and is more suitable for high-speed wrapping.
At the same time, since it is laminated with polyester film, when it is used in the optical cables and communication cables filled with ointment in the cable cores, it can prevent ointment penetration. The good permeability of polyester fiber non-woven fabrics effectively guarantees the ability of the film laminated water-blocking tape to swell and block water immediately when exposed to water.
The film laminated water-blocking tape can be used for wrapping or longitudinal wrapping of optical cables, communication cables and other cable cores to play the role of binding and blocking water; especially suitable for cable cores filled with ointment, and also play the role of preventing ointment penetration. The use of film laminated water-blocking tape can reduce the penetration of water and moisture and improve the working life of the optical cable and communication cable.
We can provide single-sided film laminated water blocking tape and double-sided film laminated water blocking tape. The single-sided tape is composed of polyester film, high speed swelling water-absorbent resin, and polyester fiber non-woven fabric in turn; the double-sided tape is composed of polyester film, polyester fiber non-woven fabric, high speed expansion water-absorbent resin, and polyester fiber non-woven fabric in turn.
The film laminated water-blocking tape we provided has the following characteristics:
1) The surface is flat, without wrinkles, notches, flashes and other defects;
2) The fiber is evenly distributed, the water blocking powder and the base tape are firmly bonded, without delamination and powder removal;
3) High mechanical strength, easy for wrapping and longitudinal wrapping processing;
4) Strong hygroscopicity, high expansion rate, fast expansion rate and good gel stability;
5) Good heat resistance, high instant temperature resistance, and the cable can maintain stable performance at instant high temperatures;
6) High chemical stability, no corrosive components, resistant to bacteria and mold erosion.
It is suitable for wrapping or longitudinal wrapping of cable cores such as optical cables and communication cables.
